Shadows in the Darkness

Shadows in the darkness

Lurking in the trees

Casting nets of mistakes

Alas, you squeeze

Showing what you are not

While whispering tales in secret

Fall beneath the branches

Occur upon your head

Leaving you twisted replete

Shadows always show themselves

In ways you cannot perceive

You glimpse their sensations

But cannot see them grieve

These are a substance

In disguise that often stumps

The victim of delusions

The hero that triumphs

I have been writing since I was big enough to learn to write. I love art, music, and any form of beauty.
